When we checked into the property, the lobby smelled very strongly like marijuana. The lady at the front desk told me that she could not figure out where it was coming from. Our room had dirty clothes from the previous occupant as well as food on the floor. All we could hear all night where the upstairs occupants stomping around, and cars running outside our room. We ended up leaving a day early

They have done quite a few updates to the property, the room and common areas were clean and had new wallpaper, rugs and bed but still have the pull out couch and chair that have been there for decades, a new larger mini fridge, complimentary freshly brewed to order coffee with a few baked goods for breakfast but the 10% off at the restaurant just up the rd was fantastic, my husband and I rented the room JUST to use their pool and hot tub but upon checking in we were informed that both were closed for maintenance, we live minutes away so we have no need for lodgings but the woman who checked us in implied that it should be opened at any time now. They had failed to inform both Travelocity and the guests who had booked that the only thing they have to offer was closed for repairs, if I had known I never would've wasted my money. We literally have a home a few miles away but we wanted to enjoy the heated indoor pool and hot tub to celebrate our anniversary, we spent our 1st anniversary there over a decade ago at the same hotel but it's changed ownership and the customer service seems to have lapsed in recent years. To not call us to let us know then not even offer a refund when we voiced our disappointment(we would have gone to a neighboring hotel with the amenities we were looking for) but instead we were given false hope. Then our last night there we kept losing power(big noreaster storm) then cable and internet to top off our already disappointing time.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay. We do our best to provide the best of services for our guests. Unfortunately, the pool did have issues which suddenly arose. The cable was restored by our provider as timely as possible and we are thankful the power outages were spotty during the storm. We are in the process of many more updates and we hope to see you again.
