The house is beautiful inside. It looked like the house hadn't been cleaned. It had cobwebs in places, floors weren't clean, hot tub was dirty, firepit didn't have a propane tank so basically the things that drew me to the property were not usable. We also had an issue with the toilet in the laundry room getting clogged and was unusable for a group of 6. We still had an amazing time on our trip. The recreation center was nice. The billiard room and weight room were clean and easily accessible. We did take advantage of the karaoke at the rec center on Saturday night. wonderful group of residence who were very friendly and welcoming. The gated community was beautiful and very secure.

Fun community for kids!

The access to multiple beaches and the island pool was great! We had 3 kids with us and we were able to go to the lake and pool everyday. The house itself was cute and clean. There were a few things that would have made the stay a little better such as hand/kitchen towels, a dish drying rack and dressers in the bedrooms. Other than that, we enjoyed the house and the amenities of the community!

Very cute small house. There was a small mixup with my registration but it was handled quickly with the owner and the staff at arrowhead lake. The only suggestions I have are somewhere to hang your towels in the bathroom. Also a few more plates, bowls and glasses would be really nice.

It was someplace to sleep.

Most complaints I had with the property fall into the "It's not my home" bucket. I didn't like the bed, the fireplace took a while to get going, a blown light, needs more light in the living room/kitchen, weird placement of the toilet paper, etc. The place was clean. It was quiet. Communications with the property owner were polite and productive. The property met all of our needs. It was fine for what we needed it for. Would I return? Maybe if I was in the area again...possibly. I didn't like the facility fees, but understood them. If I had young kids I can see this being a blast in the summer. Just a quick walk to a beach on the lake as well as playgrounds and other things for younger children.

Gals Getaway

Overall we loved this girls trip! Finding the location was very easy. I felt the fees for Arrowhead lake were a little excessive - especially for the wristbands we never used but were required to pay for. That is not the fault of the homeowner, but it was frustrating to waste that money. The fees also had changed from when I reserved the rental to when I had to pay for them and Arrowhead would not grandfather in any rates that were discussed, again, not the fault of the homeowner, but a little frustrating. On to the rental. We loved the space - it was really comfortable. All the beds were really nice and incredibly comfortable. As was the couch. It felt very homey, which we loved! There were, however, a few things we noted that were strange. There were no garbage cans in the bathrooms. The second half bath/laundry also had a dishwasher box in it, so that made it difficult sometimes. There was also no towel hangers (hand towels or bath towels) in either bathroom so they towels just had to lay on the sink, which wasn't ideal. We couldn't get the fireplace to work. I messaged the owner, and he was very responsive with help, but it didn't work, and I didn't want to be a bother. A little manual in the house with how things work would be incredibly helpful. We had also brought the necessities to make smores using the fire pit table outside. When we went to go get everything set up - there was no propane tank in the table, so we didn't get to use that either, which was really disappointing. Location wise, the place was great. It was central to a lot of different things. I would recommend an extra few outside lights - it was very difficult to see and the motion sensor light didn't always work on demand so we had to use our cell phone flashlights to enter the key code. We found some great restaurants and stores in the area and did some amazing outlet shopping in Tannersville, which was a convenient 30 minutes away. We really enjoyed the area and we enjoyed spending out girls time together! Highly recommend the Holy Ghost Distillery, if you are into that, it was a ton of fun and the people were great! We also really enjoyed Murph's Hideaway restaurant.

Last minutes getaway

The house was just what we expected, and super clean. I have to say the kitchen was a but less stocked then other places we've stayed but had the basic necessities. The community was great as well. The owners were very quick to respond to any comment or question.
