We were in town over the weekend for a funeral, staying with our children and young grandchildren. This home poses many safety issues and did not meet the expectations pictured/described in the listing. The living area furniture is not what was pictured with pills/food found in between cushions, garbage around the outside of the house, broken lamps some with burnt bulbs, broken kitchen table and end table. Smoke detector open without batteries. The dish washer has been leaking for a while, rotting the cabinet. Flooring is worn on the first floor and stair carpeting should be cleaned/replaced as the top stair has loose carpeting creating a tripping hazard. 2nd floor wall paper is peeling off. Beds are very creaky with mismatched bedding different from listing pictures. Limited towels that need to be replaced. Some of these issues were presented to the host within the first few hours of arriving. The host was responsive and offered to have someone come out to inspect the damages. We declined as many of these issues would have been too disruptive to attend to during our short stay and should have been taken care of prior to arrival.
