The open air room will be an adjustment the first night, but trust me that you get used to it and will ultimately find it to be very pleasant. Yes, birds and moths will pay your room visits but that’s part of the experience! They are harmless. "

"We loved the property! It was serene and beautiful! Very relaxing. There is an amazing hiking trail through the property that leads you to the site of an ancient petroglyph, and through the beautiful garden where they grow vegetables and herbs. The staff was so welcoming and attentive. The spa was wonderful! The restaurant, Mango Tree, was beautiful, with stunning views of the ocean and Petit Piton, an delicious food. We loved the fresh local fruit options and are already missing them!"

"We stayed at the Hermitage Jewel for 7 days in September and it was absolutely fantastic. Tami started communicating with us well before our stay letting us know what we needed. When we arrived we were picked up at the airport by the wonderful Cletus. Once there we were greeted by Tami and given the tour. The property is up in the hills about 45 minutes from airport and about 15 minutes from Soufriere. The first thing that strikes you is the absolutely magnificent view of the Pitons. The view by itself is worth 5 stars. There are two houses close by but there are so much vegetation you don’t see anyone. The property has avocado trees, coconut trees, and so many beautiful plants and flowers. As we relaxed on the porch with some fresh made rum punch, Tami made us dinner. That service is extra but I can assure you it is worth every penny. Tami ended up making dinner for us two more times and every meal was delicious. Tami also made breakfast in the mornings which consisted of fresh eggs, fresh juice, and the best fruit I’ve ever tasted. I’ll never have a mango as good as we had in St Lucia. The house is open air (no air conditioning), so be prepared for some bugs and lizards, which my wife loved (the lizards not the bugs). The afternoons were a bit hot but the good news is the pool is only steps away and definitely cooled us off. Tami arranged for a rental car to be delivered, another great service Tami provided.
