Details Matter
If you don’t read all the details about this property before you rent it, you may be disappointed once you arrive. This property is the bottom floor of a unit that was originally a two-story property. The upstairs includes the full size kitchen (and the beautiful view). The downstairs (this rental) includes sleeping quarters, bathrooms and a living area with a wet bar that was converted into a kitchenette. The footprint of the kitchenette is half the size of the largest bathroom. There are various kitchen counter appliances (that you plug into a power strip) including a one burner hot plate with a toaster oven. There is no stove or oven. If you seat 7 around the dining table, you may not be able to open the refrigerator door. If you are planning to prepare dinner for up to 9 people, you will be disappointed. The third bedroom is a small room with two sets of bunkbeds closed off by a sliding barn door (no window for egress). A regular sized adult might have trouble sliding sideways into either of the bottom two bunks of the three bunk unit. An adult could not sit up in either of those beds. The unit is furnished with mismatched odds and ends that is a stark contrast to the luxurious amenities of the Apex. You cannot get to the lobby (to catch ride share services) without walking outside down a hill, which may be a problem if you have an elderly guest. There is no peephole in the entry door to see who is doing laundry in the shared washer/dryer right outside your door.
