Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience in our hotel. We are extremely sorry about the unpleasant experience that you had, yet there are a few points in your comment that seem to be misunderstanding. The Hotel’s offer to change your daughter’s room early in morning as soon as you informed the staff about the problem was an immediate solution, though a temporary one, to keep your daughter away from the unpleasant situation. As soon as you changed the room, I personally contacted the manager and tried to figure out the best way to help you. You had your breakfast and demanded a cab right away without telling the reception that you wanted to leave so we could not help in any way possible. One solution could be offering you the three rooms in another hotel of the same group, but due to the lack of communication we were not able to do our best. All I could do at that moment was to ask you to send us an email as soon as possible so I could personally discuss the situation with the Hotel’s manager. I told you that unfortunately the bedbugs are a common problem everywhere in Paris. Most of the time they are transferred from a place to another as we take public transport and that makes the risk even higher in places frequently visited like a hotel. The phone call I made to your daughter’s room was a small act to reconcile her at first place, and as I had the same experience with bedbugs a while ago, to make sure she knows what to do next in order to get rid of them completely in case they were still in her stuff. Concerning the refund, we suggest you to contact directly Expedia since we cannot process any refund for bookings that come from an Agency. We are once again very sorry. The unexpected and unpleasant happenings are unfortunately impossible to avoid, but we always try our best to ensure a pleasant stay to our guests. Best Regards.
