First of all, No Air conditioning or fan so good luck with that... No electric socket close to bed and bed was also uncomfortable. Secondly, it’s far from city center so would not recommend this place unless you have no plan to visit Eiffel tower or city center in general.

We were super comfortable and it is necessary to mention how nice and helping the staff was. That being said, we were 2 small-ish women. The hotel would not have been so comfortable for someone bigger. The elevator is for one person only for a reason, and it only went to the 5th floor, the lat one having to be done via stairs. The shower was also not the biggest. But if you're looking for something affordable, next to a Metro station and with very nice staff, and you're not too bit, then it's a great choice.

Good for one night stay

Would only stay here again as last resort. This hotel is outdated, a one person elevator, we were 3 people in the room but only big enough for 2..bathroom shabby and toilet was in a tight corner, at least in our room. Our friends had the same problem with their room. Only saving grace is the neighbourhood.. 3 Metros within a short walking distance! Breakfast, 1Crossaint 1 breadbun, coffee and juice!

You get what you pay for

The terrible state of the rooms is compensated by the lovely old building and the central location. And I had a great deal through Hotels.com so can’t really complain. The toilet, which one has to step across in order get into the shower, seemed semi-detached from the floor. The interior of the bathroom was mouldy and cracked and the bedroom’s general appearance was cracked and ready for the skip. Nevertheless if you I prepared for that (which I was) it should not matter.

Nothing! The place should close down! No internet in rooms, elevator fits only 1 person (without luggage), not clean, employees/reception was not very helpful, I asked for 1 double bed but I had 2 singles, one electricity plug only available, floor dirty, curtains damaged and dirty, bathroom dirty with stains, toilet dirty. Not reccommended at all!!!

Save Money on Taxi

This hotel is good for the budget and is pretty close to the city center so that you can walk instead of spend money on cabs. The accommodation and place itself is okay but the staff works hard to please you!

Could have been a better hotel

Let me get this straight... It's a two star hotel! No air conditioning. No tea facilities. The mattress is old. The carpet is old. The walls need repainting. The lift will only fit one person without any luggage. The room lights are a bit dim. But it's clean. Our bed was tidied everyday. The bathroom is in acceptable level. It's a bit better than a backpacker hotel. Staff is helpful. If you decide to have hotel breakfast, it's just bread, coffee and orange juice. WiFi is only available in the reception area, even if the website says you pay five euros for a WiFi use in your room, it's not true. The staff corrected that. This hotel is only good if you intend just a sleeping room. It's not even near any tourist area. Although train station is two minutes walk but it's about twenty minutes train ride to any tourists sites. This hotel is not recommended for family with young kids as you will be allocated in separate rooms if there are more than three of you. In general, this hotel has the comfort for backpackers only.

Lift is so small that it can hold only one person at a time. Our room was in 3rd floor and we were 5 people, so it was very difficult and tiring. Bathrooms were very congested. Room was ok. WiFi was very very bad. It connects only at the reception area.

THE INTRODUCING PICTURE MISLEAD

I was very disappointed when I discovered the hotel de Nemours. The elevator takes only one skinny person. Two small beds on wheels with theirs old mattresses can't stick together. The bathtub has no curtain to stop the water. You have to clean up after a shower to avoid falling. The small TV is high on the wall. the best way to watch it is by lying in the bed. Since the WI-FI is limited to the first floor only, all guests use the small lobby to surf the internet or make a phone call from your cell phone............ The location is great, many restaurants and stores around.

Hotel review

The hotel did not have internet in bedrooms just in the living room here in the information says that we will pay additional money for having internet in the bedrooms and when you are in the hotel they say that there is not internet in bedrooms and they adviced to not use internet in bedrooms just in the living room, it is a lie about internet. The sheets of the bed were never changed during our stay of 7 nights, the towels were not changed either. The bathroom is very tiny, for going to the shower you have to jump a stair next to the toilet, for a medium size person it is too near the toilet that you will always be touching the toilet. When you shower the water will be all around the bathroom floor and almost to the carpet of the bedroom that we had to clean with towels the water to avoid it flooded. In winter the heater does not warm the bedrooms well as we slept with so much cold and they only provide a very thin blanquet that we had to request another blanquet and even though it was still cold. The lift is very small in the advice says just 1 person can get into the lift.

Somewhat nice hotel w. excellent service

Aside from the NO REFUNDABLE policy, that I did not see, bill collected in advance; the experience was somewhat nice, as the hotel staff was very nice, willing to help, give directions, etc. The surroundings were very good. Actually what I am really dissatisfied with is the NON REFUNDABLE policy, so, I will be willing to recommend your site to friends, disregard my previous comments on the matter. (The dissatisfaction)
