The property was located in a very convenient location. Our week in Paris was well spent at this hotel as it was easy to walk to many attractions or take the Subway/Trains to others. The hotel itself was cute and rooms were pretty spacious. We had a Junior Suite for two adults and a child and did not feel cramped. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful. As for the downsides, the property was not very clean. On the surface it looked OK but if you pay a little more attention to detail, you will realize they did not. The biggest problem was the rationing of air conditiong that occured at this property. During the day, they automatically turn off the AC in the units and when we come back from our day, we have to request for them to turn on the AC or else we are sweltering in 28 degree Celsius heat. They kept saying that when people open the windows, the AC turns off automatically but I call BS as we never opened the windows at all. They would also only lower it to 22 degress Celsius so if you prefer it colder, like we do, it will be a problem. Lastly, the room was noisy in the evening because you can hear the floor above you moving the chairs in their living room. The chairs are heavy and drag on the floor and I'm sure the people below us could hear us too!!

Great boutique hotel near Gare Saint-Lazare. We were here in early July during a heat wave and the hotel was so well air conditioned! The room was comfortable and fairly large for a Parisian / European hotel room. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and were so kind to our small dog. I would stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Eh - clean but a little disappointing

Unfortunately, after a long day of travel we got to the hotel (which was not easy to find as the address took us to a different one down the street) and our room was not ready. We weren’t surprised by this as it was before check in time. They happily stored our luggage and we returned a few hours later to hear our room still wasn't ready. They offered us a drink at the bar which was kind but we really wanted a shower and to to get settled after an overseas flight. The room wasn’t ready for 2 hours past the check in time. The room was small, which was to be expected. But be warned, the tub side is VERY tall! I’m not very tall and had to hang on to the side to get in and out so i wouldn’t slip!

There are two metro stations close by to the hotel (Europe and Villiers). Walkable to Monoprix for us to get a few items before heading back to our hotel when needed. There are restaurants but we didn't get a chance to try it. We stayed at the junior suite since we had three people in our stay. When we got to our room, our sofa bed was not pulled out. Apparently we had to pull it out yourself, I thought the housekeeping should have prepared it for us. One of the light probably blew out since it didn't turn on but when they came to clean the room, they replaced the bulb. Overall, stay was OK. Wished the room was a bit bigger but I guess that's space is consider big in European standard.

Great location for what we needed. Close to several metros and train station. Easy walking distance to many great places. Good breakfast. Staff was very helpful. My only complaint was that the A/C was not working the first few days. We had to sleep with the window open and it was very loud. Day 3 it was fixed. (I assume it could have been fixed sooner - it was just a reset) I would definitely stay again.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this unique hotel. The information about Proust and his work was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, although we were hoping for fresh coffee rather than machine coffee. The surrounding area has many shops, bars and restaurants which was extremely useful and convenient and Parc Monceau is a short walk. We had an issue with our room air con which unfortunately didn’t get fixed despite us reporting the issue to staff. Besides this we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Rooms and public spaces are smaller in person than expected based on photos. Air-conditioning is a bit difficult to program, and it seems to resist any changes to cooling when it is warm. Overall, the hotel and room has the basic necessities. Location was great as it was walkable to many dining options. A nice quiet street, walkable to multiple sights within 30 minutes.

The location and the staff are great. The hotel looks good at first glance, after the first day/night you’ll realize the craziness. First, our wash room does not have a shower curtain, so every time we use it, it gets almost flooded so you have to shower quickly. Second and worst, our floor/ carpet in front of the bed is soaking wet. We complained since you can smell the damp mold when we walk in the room and when sleeping we told the front desk and they just didn't anything. The breakfast food is not that great either.
