Beautiful condo at nice resort
Newly renovated unit is very nice. Loved the decor and furniture. Well equipped kitchen.
We loved Sunbird. Easy access to beach and close to all the beach restaurants. Nice pools with one of them heated.
I had inquired about the bed mattress before we booked because my husband and I both have back problems.
I was assured that the mattress was good.
Unfortunately, it is an old style mattress with a padded top. When two people lie on it, and one person moves slightly, it wakes up the other person. It is also higher on the sides than the middle, so both people roll towards the middle.
It might be ok for those without back problems, but my husband and I both had increased back pain during the trip. We suggest the owners invest in a better, tempurpedic style mattress.
Also, the ice maker did not work. If you intend to book, ask the host if it has been repaired. We ended up buying a bag of ice due to it not being repaired during our visit.
