Disappointing!
Dated & Dirty: Everything inside needs a deep clean or replacement. Furniture is really dirty and old. The rug was even worse (and filthy underneath) which was especially bad for our toddler. The kitchen was not well stocked. Many pots/pans/plates/flatware were dirty upon arrival. The refrigerator door was broken and would not shut properly. The mattress in the front bedroom is old or cheap or both. When you sit on it, you sink to the frame and feel every spring underneath youBad location: the unit sits right above the roof of the bar & grill. Their exhaust fan was malfunctioning, making really loud noises for days which made our balcony unusable. We could hear it in the front bedroom through the glass. It’s 1 floor too low to watch the sunset on horizon over the rundown hotel next door. Side balcony overlooks the building dumpster & the smell was awful in the back bedroom. Boardwalk has gone downhill. Pot smoke is everywhere. Pool was shut down twice after guests cut their feet on broken beer bottles thrown off a balcony into the pool & twice for unattended kid “accidents” w/ NO recourse for those who caused the issues. Meanwhile, security hassles guests about trivial nonsense.3) Poor Management: Property management was non-responsive. We messaged them about the refrigerator and the exhaust fan noise. They never responded. They did, however, autotext us frequently trying to upsell us on early checkin, late checkout (9am!) and w/advertisements for random local businesses.
