Time at the sunny beach

Stayed for the month of February great time.The room was great the only complete we had was the sliding door.It seem to block out a lot of sunshine.we will be back again.God Bless.

Room was creepy.

The staff of the Summit were amazing and the facilities were very well kept. The walls in the room made of mirror throughout the entire place was a little creepy. We really only were in there to sleep…. Well tried to anyway. I don’t really blame the palmetto bug that crawled across my face the second night of our stay on y’all. It is Florida after all.

Exactly as posted

The condo looked exactly like the pictures. Everything worked, check-in was seamless and quick. We have stayed at The Summit over 10yrs ago and it was exactly the same. This condo is directly in front of the pool but we could not hear any noise. Beds were fine, tv worked fine. We didn't cook but it did have pots and pans. The unit had free beach chair and umbrellas but we only used it once. Pool was clean. Would stay again.

Overall our stay was good, the condo was clean but I think the shower needs a little more cleaning and, if the carpet can be removed it will be great because it is hard to keep it clean, Bikini bob’s food was great and the servers were very nice. the pool closed at 8 because of some maintenance I wish it closed later. The condo was good, there was lots of to towels, the second floor is very convenient. elevators are always busy though. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. I definitely recommend this listing.

Well worth the money!

Over all this place is great the pools are clean,the tiki bar stays open ,they have karaoke at the pools in the evening and even have a family movie night at the pool very family friendly have a restaurant on site and security on seen all the time my only complaint was the indoor hot tub is NEVER open and the gentleman over signing out the chairs for the beach is one of the rudest men ive ever met working with the public! He should NOT be allowed to work with the public hes the guy that drives the off road atv with the bed in the back .give it a thumbs up overall

Great view.

The Summit offered wonderful views of the gulf. We loved sitting on our balcony morning and afternoon. But i do hope the streaming services improve. The shows continued to buffer which frustrated us a lot. We were told they are in the process of fixing it.

A Perfect Beach View

This condo was just as pictured, with lots of personality and a perfect view of the pool, beach, and water, with amazing sunsets each night. The Summit is very well maintained and is secure. The location is convenient to anywhere you want to go in Panama City Beach.

A Perfect Week!

The unit had a wonderful whimsy style to it and we loved being on the second floor since we did not have to take the elevator to get out in the sun. The pools were never crowded and the water temperature was perfect. We enjoyed having the chairs and umbrella so we could pop down to the ocean anytime we wanted throughout the day without having to tote a bunch of stuff. Everyone was friendly and I appreciated that there was security throughout the property. We look forward to coming back next year!

Loved the 2nd floor!

The condo was great - odd that there were not any locks on the doors to the bathroom/bedroom - but otherwise we were happy there. The 2nd floor walk up the stairs was so valuable as there was always a line for the elevators. The condo had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. There are two pools and one is heated - it was still pretty cold for our April stay but the kids loved it.

Will make changes next trip

The condo was nice. The complex was ok. We were not aware it was the off season and none of the businesses at the condo were open. The beach chairs that come with the unit were not accessible because that was not open. After talking to others there we found we were over charged for the unit. But over all we had a nice vacation. The city was great and the weather was great. Next time we go we will go closer to the end of February. That is when everything was starting to open up for the season and the weather was more consistent. Probably will look at staying at a different location closer to pier park next time because we quite enjoyed it down there and the restaurants were better. We did not have good service or good food at any of the restaurants close to our complex.

Deep cleaning required

Overall my stay was okay. The beach front view/location was great. As for the unit, the bed was comfortable and the living room furnishings were clean and odor free. There were a few issues in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen counter was dirty and so were the utensils and the drawers. Pots were old and soiled and I killed about five baby roaches. The cabinets were dirty (inside and out). Note I wiped a few of them off with a damp cloth. The bathroom counter was dirty and so was the entire shower (door included). The toilet was partially cleaned(rim only) and it had a strong odor. I kept cleaning it with Lysol wipes but the odor persisted. So, I closed the bathroom door and kept the toilet lid closed. The unit has great potential. A serious conversation should be had with the cleaning crew. I've stayed at several condos along the gulf and this unit was by far the dirtiest I've ever encountered.
