You go through their parking lot and cross over a walking bridge to get to the station. They have a great food court just down the road ..."

"The photos shown in Expedia looked nothing like the room we actually stayed in. There was also a hidden charge the hotel charged me and when I called to ask about it, they told me to contact Expedia and when I called Expedia, they told me to call the hotel. A classic bait and switch deal."

"The facility is beautiful. I was greeted warmly as soon as my UBER pulled up to the entrance. The check in was fast and easy (thank you Gianfranco for remembering me and being so kind) the room was beautiful and spotless. The bed and linens were so nice and comfortable. My partner got a fantastic massage and spa treatment, she always tells me the spa and the people who work there are amongst the best she has ever encountered, and she is a self described “spa junkie”. The fact that we can enjoy a resort like experience with a beautiful pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, gym and spa at the foot of the Oakland/Berkeley hills is really fantastic. The housekeeping and support staff are likewise great, warm and always available for any last minute requests like a vase for flowers. I love the Claremont and we will be back for sure. 5 stars all the way."

"The rooms were nothing real fancy but they were clean and had coffee in the room. It was a great location for us as we were boarding the Amtrack in the morning. You go through their parking lot and cross over a walking bridge to get to the station. They have a great food court just down the road fro the hotel and a Trader Joe's 6 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. It had cereal, yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, pancakes, english muffins, bagels and toast. I highly recommend especially if you need a hotel before or after an Amtrak ride."
