The property is within a few minutes to Foxwoods. The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was basic, clean & updated. Parking was convenient. The self serve breakfast was excellent. There was a good variety of choices for food & drinks. I would stay here again.

Upon checking in there was an older woman on the phone who was very angry, and swearing. She finally stated to us that she would be right with us. She then proceeded to be annoyed with the other girl behind the counter who was training. I felt so bad for her. The day prior I had called the hotel to ask if they can accommodate my room next to another friend who was also staying there. She not only yelled at me, but stated how dare I call during her busy time and ask for this. Upon checking out there was a man at the front. He also seemed a bit rude when I asked for a receipt, and also asked for the name of the woman who checked me in. He asked me in a rude as to why, and I stated for a google review. I did tell me her name was Candace. Not sure if it’s right, but due to the awful staff here, and the smells of the room, and how outdated it is, and breakfast being horrible I will NEVER stay here again!

Less than clean. Old and run down. Dirty carpet. Bedding and towels clean, but lumpy mattress, lumpy hard pillows...or half pillies. Heater loud. Never stay here again.

Valentine’s Day weekend: We walked into the lobby and the eveing staff was very frustrated. A blonde woman behind the counter really hated her job that day. She handled another guest so rudely and then came to me and tood me she needed a drink. Check in was quick and easy, then she asked me if i knew where my room was. I told her it was my first time at the establishment. She asked me to follow her and got frustrated when i took to long gather my things. The room.was ok, a bit dated but not horrible. They were clean. We did have trouble with our tv. Almost every channel had trouble getting a clear picture. Lots of buffering. There are no elevators. The soda machine ate my money. Our keycards stop working outlr 2nd day. Pros: daytime staff was much happier and friendly. Decent complimentary breakfast. Easy check out process.
