It was quiet. We were upset that no one answered the phone at the front desk. We weren’t notified about the pool not being ready for use. Also the continental breakfast left much to be desired.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at the Inn. I am sorry that you did not get to use the pool during your stay. We had an unexpected electrical problem that has since been fixed. Since we are adhering to the guidelines set forth by the CDC and following the CT governor's orders, we are not permitted to have the same continental breakfast as we have in years past. We still want to offer a breakfast so instead we have yogurt, fruit, muffins, string cheese, juice and granola bars available for a “Grab and Go” pick-up. All of the recent events have led to unprecedented times and as we are open longer we will change and update different aspects to make sure our guests remain satisfied yet safe. Nice hotel for a nice price! Always appreciate a continental breakfast! Sheets and room was clean. A little old but also on the water. No stale smell. Balcony over looked the river which was really nice!

This inn was nice, the rooms gave the true New England feeling, complete with balcony overlooking the water. The rooms really needed updating though. Paint was peeling, the bathtubs grote was black in places plus the slide resistance on the bottom of the tub was worn off in places, made the tub look dirty, it wasn't, but it was unpleasant. The free continental breakfast was very nice, waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, the usual. The inn's location was perfect, easy access to all shopping and museums.

The planks were coming up from the balcony. The room decor was nothing like the website. They tried giving me a queen size bed when I paid for a king size bed. All the good channels on the tv had no sound. The room wasn’t cleaned up the first day after we stayed. No hot water the second day to take a shower. The ac wasn’t working properly. They gave us 20 percent off of our bill. I think more should have been given back.

We booked here because it appeared quaint, on the water and it was our Anniversary. A sweet little Inn with dining, drinks and a balcony. We inspect each hotel room we stay in- we found: The mattress was either filthy or or had carcasses of bugs on it and stuck to the bottom of the mattress pad. The floor, while faded- which is okay- had brown stains throughout the room. The private balcony had a door leading to it with mini blinds- the kind you get from Walmart. That is also fine. Except ours were broken. Multiple blind slats were broken, bent wonky, or missing. The room smelled strongly of chemicals. The The description of the Inn said restaurant/bar on premises. Upon arrival, we were told they were closed for remodeling until the 10th- days after our departure. The desk clerk offered another room. (She assured us the facility had not had any infestations in 6 years.) We politely declined. She aaid she was only authorized to give us a 50% refund, but would hold billing until the next day when her manager came in and she could review. It would be to her discretion if we would recieve 100% refund. Enter my phone call to Travelocity to ask them to advocate for a 100% refund/no billing to our credit card. We found lodging in a local Hilton, which was very nice. As we stepped into our room, we recieved a call from the Inn at Mystic stating there would be no charge to our cc. All this worked out fine and well. I do appreciate Travelocity's assistance in this matter

We had a no ce view of the harbor. The bathroom was dated and small, but very clean. Not enough electrical outlets in the room tk charge devices. The tv, lamps, and tiny refrigerator were plugged into extension cords, which I've never seen a hotel use.
