This is a small historic hotel. We chose it for location, since we were driving through Virginia on 81. The staff is friendly; the rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it enough we'll stop there again on our way back home

Everything about our staff was wonderful. Great ambiance, staff, breakfast options, amenities, etc. my only complaint the bathroom smelled like sewage. The scent was coming from the toilet bowl and permeated the entire bathroom.
