"We really enjoyed our time at Sunny by You. The house was spacious and comfortable. We loved using the screened in porch / lanai for hanging out and meals. The kitchen had everything we needed (including decent knives which is rare in a vacation house!). Our kids LOVED the pool and many pool toys and easy access to the beach. The folks we interacted with at Shally’s (the property management company) were also very friendly and made getting groceries a breeze. Overall this was a wonderful place to unwind! "

"We loved North Captiva Island! The process of getting on and off the island was very organized and stress free. Our house, Floradays, was nice, location great. We found the house was not as nice as the pictures. It definitely is in need of some care and updating. We were told the TV in the living room wasn’t working and would be replaced on Monday. They never came and replaced it! There was a separate faucet only in kitchen to use for drinking water, it was very slow. We ended up buying bottled water. "

"The location of this house cannot be beat!! I would absolutely stay here again. The only challenge was the 3rd bedroom/2nd bathroom was not attached to the main living space and the rest of our group, but it didn't ruin our experience. We loved watching dolphins from the deck every day. No one ever set up in front of our house so we felt like we had our own private beach. The kids loved the outdoor shower. "

"We had 3 families with 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. The island is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the convenience how close the beach was with golf carts. We did have an issue with one of the golf carts the whole time. The charge did not last long and we were almost stranded a couple of times. I think the battery just needs to be replaced. The pool worked the first day and the last day of our stay. Something was broken and it was losing water the whole time. We had to keep a garden hose in it to keep the water level high enough to not burn the pump up. The management company did not do a good job of prioritizing the repair, but as soon as I talked to the host she made sure they were out to fix it. The house itself is more worn-in than the pictures suggest, but you'll have that with any rental property. We ate at all the restaurants on the island and the food was delicious. Our favorite spot was Mainstays. If you arrange ferries to and from and groceries in advance, you will be able to relax and enjoy the laid back vibe of North Captiva. "
