Nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains in Southern Vermont, the Mile Around Farmhouse is the ideal country retreat located just minutes from the beautiful village of North Bennington. A short twenty-five minute drive to VT ski resorts Bromley and Stratton and a three hour drive from New York City and Boston. Steps from your front door is the breathtaking Mile Around Woods, a 284 acre nature preserve filled with walking trails. The perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and renew!
The Mile Around Farmhouse sleeps 4 guests in two bedroom suites each with a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. One bedroom is on the first floor and one is on the second floor. The second floor bedroom also has a full size sofa bed for 2 additional guests at an additional cost.

Originally constructed in 1860, this classic New England gem has been completely renovated with modern conveniences, while still preserving all of its historic charm. The Farmhouse boasts two primary bedrooms with ensuite, an open floor plan with a large kitchen, and an expansive front porch with sweeping views of the Vermont country landscape.

Year round, wake up to the sun rising over the unspoiled hills of neighboring farms before taking a stroll down tree lined streets to the heart of the charming hamlet of North Bennington. Just a short walk from the Farmhouse, here you can enjoy regionally brewed coffees at our village bakery, fresh Vermont produce, meats and cheeses from our general store and delicious seasonal offerings from local restaurants.

Southern Vermont is filled with a rich history of arts and culture to discover. The Mile Around Farmhouse is within 30 minutes of The Bennington Museum, Bennington College, Hildene The Grandma Moses House, Williams College, The Robert Frost House, Mass MoCA, The Clark, The Williams Theatre Festival, and more. The Berkshires, Tanglewood, Hudson Valley, Hancock Shaker Village and the Adirondacks are all great day trips from The Farmhouse.

BEDROOOMS
There are two bedroom suites in this house each with a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. One bedroom is on the first floor and one is on the second floor. The second floor bedroom also has a full size sofa bed.

The house has wifi and a Smart TV.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and all necessary cooking and serving tools for creating beautiful and delicious meals.

PETS
We accept one dog under 30 pounds for an additional fee of $50 per stay.

PORCH AND YARD
The front of the home has a large deck perfect for outdoor dining, or relaxing with a good book. The yard has a fire pit and seating with beautiful mountain views.

LOCATION
The village of North Bennington (and Bennington College) is just a short walk from the Farmhouse, here you can enjoy regionally brewed coffees at our village bakery, a general store and several local restaurants. Also, a short drive, or bike ride, to three historic covered bridges.
