"This was my 4th time in Aruba at the same hotel. Nice property, needs some updating. Rooms need to be inspected prior to check in. We found some items in.our room that required attention. Our door wouldnt close, the hinges were loose, the balcony door locks broken, TV unplugged, toilet handle broken. Front Desk called before I could report issues, great job insuring guest satisfaction. Engineering quick to respond and correct. Dining Room options good, The quality of food and service compared to prior COVID was lacking. F&B staff not focused or engaged compared to Front Desk, Houaekeeping and Bellman. Some focus on this will be great. Beach Cabana staff suppose to help with finding beach chairs. This service is complimentary for hotel guests. We.encountered on our first day a gentleman named Samir who wanted $20 a day to reserve our beach chairs. Not acceptable, other staff were nice and never mentioned fees to reserve beach chairs. We gave something discretionary, for the kind service. This needs to be reviewed with staff. Otherwise beautiful hotel and would return again. "
