The room was clean. The noise is typical New York noise but the windows must be very bad as it was so loud we thought they were open. The area is a little iffy, I would not walk around. The check in staff are behind plexy glass. The staff were nice. You do have to take luggage up & down 8-10 steps before gwtting to an elevator or out of the hotel. Beds not horrible. We did not have breakfast. Coffe was decent.

Ok in a pinch, but lil expensive

I only paid 1/2 price for this as I had hotels.com credits to use, so I paid £65 instead of £130 as advertised. The staff were rude and often wouldn't acknowledge your presence for a long while. They were helpful when they did acknowledge you. The room itself was comfy, the bed especially, very soft. The bathroom was clean, although I did find a hair in the bathtub. The mirror was cracked and damaged but still usable. On check out I asked to store my bags. They told me to just leave it by the lift door on the lower level... I didn't feel this was overly secure so I kept my valuables with me and just left my clothes. Although it was there when I got back so that was ok. The free shuttle service from JFK to the hotel is on request, but from the hotel to JFK is on the hour every hour, so factor that into your travel plans if staying here before a flight. I personally stated here after a flight so that didn't effect me too much Overall I would say this isn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in new York, and asside from the staff, I felt it was sufficient for a bed for the night, but I wouldn't stay there again at full price, it was very expensive in my opinion

for the price that is paid at this poor area and non speaking and poor communication This is shocking that the place is in business but it is due to the availablity being close to the JFK airport or I think it would be close and forget about the Shuttle he cant not drop like other shuttles at the terminal for someone like me that is not familar with the city very disppointed ow first stay and in the NYC area and the breakfast no meat no eggs for the price of 200 hundred dollars I was looking forward to breakfast blowing my mind sadly disappointed and regrets to have spent my money for such inconverence

The only redeeming feature of my overnight stay was the shuttle driver. The room was poor, chipped paint, sticky floor, good bed, the only soap in the bathroom was in a tiny plastic bottle. Noise from other guests most of the night. The shuttle driver was the only human contact early in the morning and he got me to the air train in time. This establishment is overpriced.
