"This was a delightful home full of charm and inspiration. The perfect place for 5 artists/writers to meet up and buckle down on getting some work done with like-minded friends.When the pilot light was out on the boiler, Susie and Steve were quick to send someone out to fix it and within a few hours, the house was toasty. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching Cayuga Lake while working. (Also loved that a guestbook from 1914 is framed in the front foyer! How cool.)The house is well-stocked with coffee, tea, games, towels, and linens and we brought the rest. Cozy, warm, the perfect atmosphere!The area is beautiful and there are plenty of restaurants in Seneca Falls to choose from (many who offer Door Dash, btw) and lots of great outdoor activities. We enjoyed some hiking and taking in the Women’s Rights Museum (sadly closed because of the current shutdown, but there was lots to read and take in even outside the building). Also enjoyed cheese tasting at the Muranda Cheese Co. with live music."
