Very unfortunate place. While I can certainly appreciate older hotels come with character, this hotel was very disappointing. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Unfortunately the room was dirty- hair in the bathroom and on the pillow. The bathroom fan hasn’t been cleaned in ages clearly, and the edges don’t get dusted. To top it off, I heard a staff member in the restaurant telling another worker about a time that someone overdosed in one of the rooms and the server had to go do CPR on them, and they weren’t sure if the person was revived or not. I immediately called my friend who was staying elsewhere and stayed with him. Won’t be going back here & neither will anyone I know. Such a bummer.

The hotel is older, but well kept. There was friendly front desk staff. The common areas and rooms were clean. The shower head was old and low, pressure was good. Parking is across the street. Hotel area was relatively quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at The Met. Our room was spotlessly cleaned every single day, which made our stay comfortable and stress-free. When we checked out, my son accidentally left his watch in the bathroom. The staff were so kind—they contacted me right away and kept it safe at reception until we could pick it up. I also really appreciate that they allowed us to store our things for a while as we had to pick up our car later. Overall, amazing service and very accommodating staff. Highly recommended! - Arlene
