Overall the hotel stay was excellent! The room was beautiful and very clean. Each day housekeeping cleaned the room and replaced all supplies completely. The hotel lobby was gorgeous and it was close enough to everything to be within walking distance. Each night there was pb&j with milk and hot chocolate. That was AWESOME! The only thing missing was a concierge. Also, the showers didn’t work one morning which was an unpleasant surprise. I would have expected an apology for the inconvenience since, to me, that’s a big deal. But when I reported it but just got - ‘I’ll report it to maintenance.” But like I said - overall it was a very pleasant experience.

The hotel was simply beautiful. Even though they're going through some renovations. The other parts of the hotel were clean and neat. The sitting area was so glamorous! This trip was a sisters trip. So the glam chandeliers were a nice touch. I totally love bling. The room was AMAZING!

Stayed several times at Le Pavillion when we come New Orleans in the past, very disappointed this time in the stay. Had to ask for towels, bathmat, coffee after room had been cleaned. Floors never vacuumed during the stay. Coffee/water was not available all day in lobby. I understand construction but honestly that was more bearable than these others STANDARD items mentioned.

Disappointing experience.

Pros: Location within walking distance of most sites (French Quarter, Canal Street, restaurants).
Cons: Better customer service by front desk personnel. Also when we first made reservations, we were not aware they were doing major renovations.
Location: Plenty of restaurants, street car stop a block away, clean, safer area of the city.
When we first arrived at the hotel, there were 3 clerks at the check in desk. One was checking in another family, one said he couldn't help us because his computer crashed, and a third, Paula, just kept typing stuff on her computer, and never acknowledged us. It took at least 25 minutes of waiting to be checked in, and we were third in line. Then our first room was nice and big, with dresser drawers to unpack our clothes, because we were staying a week, but the toilet kept flushing every 2 minutes. We called the front desk 4 times to get maintenance to fix it. Finally at midnight, maintenance showed up and they could not fix it.They got us another room across the hall, but it was alot smaller, with no dresser drawers, so we had to live out of our suitcases all week. My wife had to repack everything so we could move across the hall. The bathroom was really small, and the heavy sliding doors on the shower were off the tracks,so you had to be a weightlifter to slide them. The toilet was also broke, so you had to jiggle the handle every time you flushed so it would turn off. I explained this the next morning to "Paula" at the front desk who grumpily said she would comp us our first night, but never offered us another room, or apologized for the prior night's inconvenience. Needless to say, she did not make a good first impression. The PBJ sandwiches every night were delicious, and the doormen were really nice, but there are better choices in New Orleans to stay.

The Bellman were wonderful. The beds were comfortable but too small for two people. Queen sized beds would be a welcome improvement.

We liked the location- walking distance to french quarter but closer to lower garden/warehouse. Front staff (desk) didn’t seem to care. We were not given washclothes one day. One call to desk and two direct requests to front desk. No washcloths? Had to hunt down housekeeping in am. Pool was dirty by end of week. Overall it was a good value for $. Beds very comfortable. Would probably not stay again.
