Great Room Close to the Ferry

Pros: I liked the attractive, clean large room, a kitchen table to work on, and proximity to the ferry.
Cons: Needs a visible elevator to the second floor. Shower temperature could have been more consistent.
Location: Close to the ferry, Nanaimo town centre, and nearby winery tasting rooms.
Don't let the rather ordinary appearance from street view fool you. This is not the usual aging highway motel. Once you open the door to your room you find a completely remodeled, freshly-painted large room with lovely hardwood floors and a seperate, fully equipped kitchen. Large bathroom too. A big plus was the room rate, which made the Bluebird the best value for the dollar on our trip so far.

mold around the tub,air conditioner was as loud as a semi with no exhaust only stayed 2 days got 3rd day refunded,because day 2 they would not refund me,no impressioned with the stay
