"The room smelled like heavy perfume and smoke, the front desk sent someone to deodorize the carpet but it didn't fully resolve the issue, there were a lot of stains on the hallway rugs. I will say it was an older property and it was ok. I wouldn't stay here again. The staff was great, the breakfast was good and the staff was good as well."

"The room itself is extremely clean, and the hotel is very close to museums.And the mint and the ben franklin museum. It's very close to chinatown and the reading market. This isn't the hotel's fault, but the neighborhood around the hotel has gotten a bit rough, and there's definitely more homeless people around there; i would be more cautious walking around the neighborhood at nighttime. The cleaning staff was very helpful and the front desk was friendly and efficient."

"The hotel is in a very convenient location, right in the middle of Center City Philadelphia. The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. Keep in mind that the rooms here are economically sized, so if you’re looking for a hotel room that has lots of room for you to wander, you may wish to consider different hotels. This is a great hotel if you plan to use it mostly to rest while you spend most of your time exploring the city."
