"Pros - Great location, nearby most of Santa Barbara's shopping and popular spots. Great for families. Loved the family suite with a separate room for the kids. Air conditioning worked great. Cons - Rooms are a bit outdated (there was construction in some of the rooms, so maybe they are upgrading?) Bathrooms needed a deeper clean. Breakfast was minimal. Overall we had a good stay."

"Fantastic little hotel in a nice area. Minutes from everything in Santa Barbara. Staff were all nice and our room looked like a little apartment with a kitchen and fridge. Very helpful for leftovers from dinner out! The grounds were so beautiful! The breakfast was great too. They had egg frittatas, out meal, cereal, yogurt parfaits and pastries. Coffee and tea. We ate inside but lots of people ate on the patio outside the lobby which was really nice. I highly recommended this hotel."

"This is a beautiful property. That being said, for the price, I had exceedingly high expectations. We could have paid more for a spectacular view. However, every room should have at least a nice view. We had a view of a small grass area with shrubs and a wall. There was an ant problem in the room. There were greasy hand prints on the door. The shower stayed warm, but not hot. Signage said to leave towels on the rack if we want to save water and not get fresh towels. We left them on the rack and were given fresh towels, wasting water. Bed was comfy. We wanted a spa treatment and based on the description thought that the "Signature" mani/pedi included hand/arm and foot/leg massages. The ladies were super sweet and gave good mani/pedis, but other than the skin treatments used in arms/legs, felt like ordinary mani/pedi. None of these would typically be an issue. But, at this price point, expected more."
