We were told by the man that checked us in that there was not a veterans discount because of construction! only to hear the clerk ( lady ) the next morning giving a veterans discount to a man there ! Obviously we’re lied to, not to mention that we were not told there was construction and had to come in side door and we got locked out because card wouldn’t work on side door .

Didn’t live up to its rating
I had a booked our reservation a day ahead but the front desk agent was able to switch the dates (thank you). Our room was clean but unfortunately can’t say the same about the outside conditions. There were cigarette butts everywhere and trash all around the property. The end entrance door card swipe wasn’t working so either had to prop it open with the trash can or use front door. Breakfast was among the worst I’ve had. Waffles and eggs cold and bland. Don’t typically write such a negative review but struggling to understand how the hotels.com rating is 8.6.

It’s a bit run down, but workers are difficult to find and repairs hard to be made. Staff is very affable and kind. Excellent rate and facilities.
