The home was lovely and the hostess/host were delightful. The houses in the area are unkept but don’t let this scare you off. It is safe

Interesting place, very nice breakfast. Area was not as close to other activities as we would have preferred. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy.

The Mansion is located in the middle of EVERYTHING that Milwaukee has to offer. Yes, we are in an urban area. We have may different cultures, who in our Historical Neighborhood. I do believe that you did find the area quietly and friendly if you had interacted with others.

The mansion and grounds are beautiful. The mansion is decorated like an old Victorian home--lots of antiques, knick-knacks, old photos. Interesting to see but they all could stand a good dusting and so could the wood floors, windowsills, draperies, etc. Guests should be informed ahead of time that they will in some cases have to share a bathroom with other guests. We would not have booked this room if we knew that was the case--especially in these times of Covid. In addition, the owners, though kind, outgoing and personable, shared they are not vaccinated and don't intend to be. Again, that would have been a deal breaker for us if we had known and its our fault for not asking ahead of time.

It is a beautiful old mansion, decorated in the correct time period, very cozy, the couple who owns it is very friendly and helpful. Very special breakfast , served on beautiful china and crystal. Highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful 19th Century Mansion located within walking distance of many point of interest in Milwaukee. 15 minute walk to river front on Milwaukee, and center of Historical Brewers and Marquette University. Gothic churches and 3rd Ward.
