Overall, things were good. However, the bedside spotlights werent working. One of the sides of the bed didn't have any outlets or a power strip thing to charge your phone. The wifi kept disconnecting.

We got a a king suite with the hot tub in the room. Water was wonderfully hot. Bed was comfy. You've been on a very busy weekend where everything with crowded. The room was quiet when we slept great.

Breakfast is mediocre. Rooms on higher floorz are outdated and not maintained. The chair in my room was filthy, shower insert was yellow from water over the years and there was a weird stain/hardened substance on side of ac unit. Elevator floors were sticky and visibly dirty.

"This Drury hotel is our family's "go to" favorite place to stay when visiting Iowa City. Friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms that you can relax in. Nice bedding. Quiet. A really good breakfast with hot foods or grab and go items such as fruit, ect. If you check in early enough, there are also nice appetizers and beverages. Something for everyone. My son swam in the pool and had fun. It was partially indoors and outdoors. It was too chilly to go outside when were were there, but it would be fun in the summer time. Another nice perk is the free self parking, in the adjacent lot, just steps away or underground. There is an elevator and it was well lit when we arrived in the evening. It is nice to not have the added parking expenses. "
