When we checked in, the woman behind the counter must have been having a bad day. We were not greeted, and after I told her of our reservation the only word she said was "ID." as to indicate that she needed my identification. A few moments later she told us where our room was.
After getting settled we went down to the pool. There were no towels present to I went to the same front desk/lady and conveyed the need for towels. She went to the back and came back with about 7 - I only needed 2. I assumed she wanted me to fill up the shelves so I did. My kids said the pool was freezing - her response. "I don't maintain the pool." I asked about the hot tub which was covered/sealed with a wooden lid. She said, "We've never had a working hot tub."
The breakfast was ok, but the coffee creamer was out and when I went open the pourer to see if there was a little left, I noticed a giant chunk in the bottom. That was enough for me to not desire creamer.
I know all this may sound petty, but it all added up to be a very subpar experience.
