noisy

Pros: location
Cons: window blinds need to be replaced
The staff were nice, the room was clean, and the hotel is in a nice location. I was not expecting great accommodations based on the reviews, and chose it more because of the economical price. My biggest problem was that I couldn't get a good night's sleep because of the noise. There was an above-ground train/tram that went right by my window. There was a window AC in the room which meant that I could easily hear the sound from the tram and the cars below. In addition, the blinds on the window were broken, so the lights from outside easily shone through, and I felt like I didn't have any privacy. Working window coverings seem like a basic amenity that all hotels should have and I hope they fix them (room 201) so other customers don't have to have the same experience.

Small old hotel

The hotel is old. The rooms are small there were no blakets in the room. The free breakfast was toast and some sort of baked good. Would not recommend this hotel.

Do not stay

What a disappointment, first Travelocity messed the dates up and with the no refund policy of hotel I paid for 2 nights we never stayed. We rebooked and what a terrible place. There is constant street noise, outside lights shining in, makes for a no sleep night. The place has an odor or chlorine and bleach. The hotel hands out a paper about drugs and.illict activities. If this was posted on the website, we would never had stayed. The area around the hotel is not family friendly. No parking provided, had to park on the street away from hotel. Very unsafe at night. Will I use Travelocity again? Probably not, the hotel, never. I contacted the hotel to get an explanation or refund. I'm not holding out hope.

Ghetto rooms, not even a power outlet.

Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Everything actually.
Location: Near downtown, the only thing this place has going for it.
Spartan rooms near downtown is the nicest thing I can say about this hotel. I didn't expect this place to be nice, but was still disappointed at what I saw upon opening the door to my room. When I realized that they didn't even have any available electrical outlets I called downstairs. After the phone range for 7 mins someone answered. She argued with me for 3 mins that there indeed were open outlets and finally said, "Ok, I'll send someone to your room." 28 mins later I gave up waiting and went downstairs. There she was talking to the "someone", the only other employee of the hotel. "Oh, sorry he was busy", is all she said. Interestingly enough he must have just gotten un-busy because he stood around the entire time she and I spoke. After much consternation she agreed to have her colleague go get an extension cord. Tired of waiting I asked if she she would hold it behind the counter while I went out for dinner. She agreed. 90 mins later when I returned she explained that there were no extension cords. Not sure what's worse, being lied to or the fact that the hotel refused to buy an $8 cord. Never again.

The room was dirty

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, Poor breakfast, dirty rooms
The room was dirty, locks were falling off and we did not feel safe. They had different color blinds. It was hot and humid and very cramped... We were very disappointed. The pictures appeared nice online which and the place was different when we arrived.
