"The hosts were by far the best at this cozy cabin. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! The house had every amenity you could ask for and was truly the most relaxing stay. We go to one to three VRBO rentals a year, and this place by far is unmatched. The hosts have clearly done research into what makes a perfect stay. Even little things like having hooks for all your gear and labeling lights go a long way! We got to bring our furbaby and he felt right at home. The Hosts also provided a little welcome basket, which was truly a lovely gesture. We hope to stay here again! "

" What a cool place to spend a few days, Rik was a great host. A unique building with so many "scratch your head", "how did he do this?" things to see. Loved the peace and quiet, deer in the backyard, and the fireplace. (Temp was in the teens) Too much snow to really get to see all the property, will have to come back in the fall, but a great visit."

"We loved staying at this charming cottage in the heart of Dorset — it was exactly as described and easily walkable to the Dorset Green, with lovely local shops and spots nearby. Nicole was an incredible host, especially during a snowstorm, clearly communicating with us without being overbearing. Highly recommend!"

"The cabin was welcoming and immaculate upon our arrival. Tremendous amount of wood outside for use in the fireplace which was a focal point of our stay. It was decorated in a true log cabin style. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, glassware, and cutlery needed for our family of 7. The pool table in the basement provided many hours of happy family entertainment. The staircase up to the second floor was a bit steep and could be a problem for some. There were outdoor winter sporting supplies (Snowshoes, trekking poles, saucers & sled) in the garage. We all took advantage of traversing the snowshoe trails on the property which was a lot of fun. Whenever we had a question the owners were readily available to us even though they were traveling out of the country. A problem arose during our stay but it was handled quickly and completely by the owners. The wealth of information in the guest notes we received prior to arriving were also invaluable in managing the situation. We had a quintessential Vermont winter family vacation complete with several snow falls that added to the magic! "
