Hi! Thanks for giving us a score!

4 out of 5
Good: Friendly staff. 24 hour desk and check in which isnt common around the area I dont think. Nice looking place. Has the right feel to it. Breakfast was good. Bad: Overpriced for outdated barebones rooms. Also my room had a verandah with a sliding door, yet for some reasom a piece of wood was screwed into the track making it unusable. Old bedding and pillows. Comforter (which always brings the potential that they arent washing them between guests). Full review:The place is nice looking, friendly staff. Really overpriced though. The rooms are big but dont have much in them. The pillows and blankets are old. Smell old. Not fluffy. Comforter on bed like old days, probably isnt washed with every guest change though Im not sure. Most places didnt though when they used comforters. People started making a fuss about it and thats why they dont use them anynore. But this place does. Anyway. Towels were newer and clean. Room was fairly clean though a little dated. Bathroom seemed newer. I didnt use any amenities but the hot tub looked nice. Breakfast was very good. The rooms apparently have verandahs which are bolted shut. So you can see your deck, yet you cant use your deck. No idea why. They should state that beforehand since its honestly a little annoying to realize you have a verandah yet cant access it because theyve shoved a piece of wood in the track. Id have stayed twice as long if the rooms were 75% the cost they are. But at 200 with taxes its roo much

The whole complex was a bit worn and dated. Otherwise we had a good stay. The breakfast was good also.

Great Staff / Disappointing Hotel

Stayed overnight during a Vermont adventure weekend.  The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, but the hotel was a huge disappointment.  Walking into the room we were greeted by an overwhelming musty odor.  The furniture and finishes are a bit beaten up.  With a little care this could be a nice ski/summer getaway, but it's well past its prime in its current state.

this hotel is so old that it is impossible to give you the experience it is clean

Cons: Noisy, Poor breakfast, dirty
very sixties/ seventies looking hotel, it has not been updated/remodeled since. The carpets are thick with dirt and you can clearly see where the vacuumcleaner does not hit the strip between the baseboard and the vacuum. grout is black in bathroom. old tv with poor reception/ remote. hallways are dirty and worn. The complimentary breakfast was of poor quality. I checked out after one night and went to a B&B . The staff was as engaging as they are in walmart.

The Stratton Mountain Resort Inn is really run down and dirty.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Cons: filthy, strong odor of mildew
Unfortunately you pay for what you get when it comes to Stratton Mtn Resort Inn. The building is very outdated, it has a strong odor of mildew throughout and the rooms are dirty. We opened the windows immediately upon arrival to deal with the stale air and the bathroom and bedding were visibly filthy. It was disappointing considering Stratton Mountain itself is very lovely. I can only attribute the state of this hotel to neglect and really poor service. I will not be returning.

Awesome resort village

My friends and I had a great trip to Stratton. We stayed in one of the one bedroom condos and really loved that we had so much space. We prepared breakfast and coffee in the condo every morning and saved a few bucks. The fitness center is great, although I am still sore from the intense spin class. This resort has it all within a quick walk - restaurants, nightlife, and activities.

Inn at Stratton Mountain

Cozy, rustic and comfortable. Clean with a very comfortable bed and all the normal features. Did include a safe for protection of valubles in the room. Room on east side of building facing parking lot and other buildings which obscured view of mountain. Staff was was helpfull and friendly but never in your way.
