The staff was friendly, nice, and accommodating. What was NOT good was that the hallway was HOT and the elevators did not work properly. Whatever button you pushed for up or down, the elevator would take you the opposite direction and stopped on every floor regardless if the button for that floor was selected. The room was muggy whether the air or heat was on. There was always a moist feeling in the air. There seemed to be suspicious guests staying at the hotel lingering in the halls and outside at various times. There was a LOT of walking up and down the hallways from some guest who appeared to be staying in the hotel as a residence. My room had a connection door to the next room which made me VERY feel unsafe. The guest in that room played LOUD music until LATE in the night. I did not report the issue since it would have been cumbersome to move all that I had with me. Plus, I did not want to deal with retaliation from the suspicious guest(s) in the room. That male was also very LOUD when talking on his phone. From this experience I will NEVER stay at a Hampton ever again.
