The Diamond Setouchi Marine Hotel is situated 9 miles (15 kilometers) outside of the city center of Megijima Island. The Tsuzumioka Shrine and Koshointenno-ji Temple are some of the more popular attractions to discover when visiting Sakaide.

Before you and your traveling partner leave Shikoku, ensure you are able to watch some local teams. Visit Kanko Stadium, to the north of Megijima Island. Any sports fans hoping to sleep in the area surrounding the stadium can make a choice from the Okayama Royal Hotel or the Hotel Granvia Okayama.

Takamatsu Airport is the most practical airport for flying into Megijima Island. It's 12 miles (20 kilometers) away. APA Hotel Takamatsu Airport is a nearby hotel.
