"Great spacious house in a beautiful part of the countryside. Very well equipped and well presented. Perfect for our family needs. The heated pool was a bonus. We are considering booking again!"

"Pets welcome but advise in advance, perfect location, cozy, easy access for local sight seeing and there’s lots of places to go and see. There’s an M&S food at the garage about 200 metres away, good pub within walking distance but allow 30 mins there, and about an hour to get back in the dark 🙂 There is a microwave and induction hob with fridge and toaster in the kitchen but no oven, all you need unless you brought a pizza, no big deal we just froze it and had it when we got home. All in all a very nice stay, good garden with seating too if the weather permits, come and go as you please and the hosts are very helpful."

"Finchcocks was the perfect house for our stay...we were celebrating an 80th birthday with 18 family members and needed 7 doubles and 2 twins. All of the bedrooms were en suite and we had loads of space and facilities. It was a wet weekend but managed to play tennis during a short dry spell, as well as lots of indoor table tennis! The house was spotless, the kitchen full of everything you could think of (with multiple fridges and cookers) and John was very helpful explaining how everything worked. Could have asked for a better weekend"

"A really nice and unique place to stay . The hosts were very good commiunicators and the stay was excellent. It had everyting we needed , but the steep spiral staircase did take some getting used to. It was well equipped with a nice outside area which must be beutiful in the summer time. Parking the car around the corner meant carrying all of the bags and loading up some steep stairs but apart from that it was a really nice stay . The communications from the owners were excellent . It was well euipped , clean and comfortable. "

"Well equipped, & comfortable. Close to many interesting places with local basic shops. Good restaurant a short walk away.Parking could be hit or miss but generally okay.The kitchen needs decluttering & the drying function on the washing machine didn’t work well. Also the hot water supply was irregular.The excess of cushions was a nuisance"

"This accommodation changed management and only does phone reservations. It is unable to access and honour previous bookings from this site. So when booking on this site you won’t be booking a place to stay. Luckily they had one room left for us. But there are little other accommodation options in the area, so be careful. "
