The lobby gives a great first impression - it looks clean, modern, and well maintained. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ends. The hallways are dark, depressing, and poorly lit, with outdated and unattractive decor that feels neglected rather than welcoming. The biggest issue was cleanliness. There were small cockroaches throughout the bedroom, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be a four-star property. Cleanliness is non-negotiable, and this alone should disqualify it from any higher rating. The air conditioning unit ran constantly and made loud, disruptive noise, making it difficult to rest properly.

The room itself was fine but the entire side of the hotel that is next to the Teatro Kapital (a night club that opens at midnight) is SO LOUD between midnight and 6am. I was woken up every night at midnight and things didn't quiet down until the morning. So take ear plugs as it's not really the hotel's fault and there isn't much that can be done.
