Clean and spacious house!

My family stayed at this VRBO while in Lubbock for a graduation. It was 5-15 minutes away from anything we needed so the location was convenient. The house was very clean and as described in the listing. This was the first time I've ever had garage access while staying at a VRBO or other rental. It ended up coming in extra handy as there was some bad weather that our vehicle was protected from in the garage! I didn't need to contact the host very much, but she was helpful and quick to reply when I did. Check out process was very easy!

Wonderful home away from home

My little dog and I stayed 5 nights at this wonderful home in Lubbock, and it was so enjoyable! Quiet, yet located on a lovely street so I felt perfectly safe. If it’s available the next time I’m in Lubbock, it will definitely be my “home away from home.”

During a Difficult Time/Best Decision Made

(Summary written by my wife). To the Host of this property, thank you for having a decent home for us to stay at during our visit to Lubbock. We were there for my older sister’s funeral. A very difficult time & knowing that we had a clean & safe place to stay at was a blessing. My daughter & I had been there the week before to be with my sister while she passed & we stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn. That location was filthy & management & employees did not care to fix the problems (several issues) & frankly we did not have the emotional strength to find another hotel. Owner/Host of Flintwood Mac, thank you for your lovely home & for making it feel like a home away from home. May you continue to have success with this location.

Loved this home!

What a beautiful home. Everything we needed and then some. We really liked all the 'whimsical' touches. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The courtyard in the middle was perfect for letting our dogs out. Our only suggestions would be a king size bed and a chair in the bedroom. Thank you so much!

The untrimmed shrubs made it a little difficult to get in using my walker. We were surprised that there weren’t any packaged condiments for the coffee and the shower dispensers are either broken or plugged up.

Please inform the owner that the neighbors dogs knocked through the fence in the courtyard area and bit my dog. The fence needs to be secure. I have a bigger dog but if it had been a smaller animal the dog easily could have grabbed it. Unfortunate.

Very convenient and comfortable place

We stayed here for three nights with three dogs while we attended an AKC scent work trial. The main living areas are tile with a few area rugs, which was perfect for the dogs. You can load and unload the car through the garage which is very convenient. The place was clean and comfortable. The back patio area did have enough space for our dogs to potty, but we didn’t spend any time back there because the neighbor had some large dogs who barked on the other side of the fence. We pottied in the side yard by going out the front door and that worked just fine since this house is on the corner. We would definitely try to stay at this rental again if we are in Lubbock again. Easy to communicate with the property manager. Thanks!
