"Simple clean comfortable rooms; easy walk from the ferry, restaurants, and shops; free breakfast; there’s a bakery next door and a drug store on the corner. Taxi stand down the block. Bar soap and small shampoo bottles provided but no conditioner. The windows have regular curtains not blackout, so if city lights bother you bring an eye mask to sleep. Go watch the sunset from the great bar / restaurant down the block called Aqui + Ahora. Or you can watch the sunset from the rooftop pool at this hotel. The pool is fantastic - clean and well-maintained with beautiful views and lots of seating. Overall very happy with this hotel. "

"Loved our room with ocean view, comfortable bed and rain shower head. Only negative the safe did not work, but they did try to fix it. Centrally located, could get noisy outside on Friday and Saturday nights."

"My second time choosing to stay here. It’s now my “go-to” when I come to Cozumel! The front desk reception guy is so friendly and helpful the place has a nice “I’m at home” vibe! The rooms are comfortable— the beds are especially cozy and nice. The cleaning lady asked if the room needed refresh and was pleasant to organize a good time with us. Our terrace had an ocean view to the side, as does the roof deck with a palapa and some chairs and a pool—It was all ours when there with a panoramic ocean view. And the location cannot be beat! It’s a 3-mile walk to the ferry, and flanked by two awesome restaurants “Jolly Cafe” for late breakfast and great coffee and the “Maplehouse” for great baked goods, sandwiches, salads and more. There are convenience stores and a ton of other restaurants, bars and clubs in walking distance. The place and location are worth the stay and you can eat and drink there too when bar/restaurant onsite is operating. I liove it! We feel at home here!"

"Thos hotel was Absolutely Wonderful!!! We would stay here again and we definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a super central hotel while in Cozumel. All of the shops and restaurants are within a one to ten minute walk. The staff are SO friendly and the continental breakfast that's included is just Great. The fresh squeezed OJ is Fantastic 😊 The only thing I would mention is that I think this hotel is Perfect if you are out doing activities. If you are looking to just chill by a pool and have some drinks from the bar I would choose another hotel because the pol is super tiny and there isn't a restaurant or bar at the hotel. This being said ... definitely stay here if you are going to be out and about and just want to cool down after. Thanks to all the staff for making our time in Cozumel sooooo fun. "This was my second stay at the Luna Azul and I will stay there again. It’s a quaint little hotel with a very refreshing pool. It’s in a location where I can walk to the Malecon to go shopping… to find good restaurants. The staff at the hotel are wonderful and very accommodating. My room is always cleaned spotlessly every day. I trust the staff completely. The only thing that would make it better would to be a mini fridge in the room. But that is my only recommendation. I love this hotel. And I can’t go without saying how much I love Lucas, the little black dog that loves to visit the hotel. He’s always so happy to see me and keeps me happy because I miss my dog when I’m away."
