I'm not sure how this hotel has such a high rating. Problems started from the moment we got to LA. We waited for the advertised shuttle for 40 minutes, and called multiple times and were put on hold, before we decided to get an Uber to the hotel. When we arrived, we were told that the driver must have got sick, but no further information was given. The room was fine, but smelled and was slightly uncomfortable. They had a nice shop in the lobby with drinks and food, but no utensils, and none in the room. For the price, this was fine, but I would not stay here ever again and would definitely not recommend it. Management clearly does not care about guests and gave off an untrustworthy vibe.

I asked for new sheets and it took them two days and 3 different people to get them to me after asking multiple times. They don’t do room service for 3days. They did one of the beds and not the other! It was terrible. The day I was checking out I asked for the shuttle to take me to the airport and it was in the “shop” so they said sorry out of luck. No accommodations. Nothing. Not even a sign letting guest know it was unavailable. Therefore I had to get a very expensive Uber ride that took me 1 1/2 hr to get to the airport because of traffic. Spend your money somewhere else.

This hotel is very clean , the staff is courteous, and the upgraded facility is definitely an attraction for visitors. It's also pet friendly with spacious air conditioning rooms so that's a plus. If your ever near LAX I would recommend this hotel.
