“Some construction work going on.” Ha

They are doing construction work in the hotel from 10 am till 4 pm. I was trying/hoping to get quiet work done in my room. The sound peaked at 85 db which, bless them, is just below the level you should wear hearing protection… I enquired at reception and they consoled me by agreeing it was loud and it had been going on for 6 months. 6 months! How about accepting you can’t provide the basics of a hotel at full capacity while you’re doing renovations. At least mention it on the listings.

The Hoxton did not disappoint! Front desk staff were really welcoming and helpful! Location is great and very walkable, with a number of bars, restaurants and shops close by. Room was very clean! Would definitely stay here again!
