Always stay here when i am in London

Pros: Close restaurants, staff actually remembers your name
i have stayed here 3 times and each time the same, now granted i am a huge Hilton girl but none the less the staff in fantastic, everyone remembers me and when i took my mom for her 65th, they made a big deal of her trip. The rooms are normal for europe, small, minimally appointed, not so ample closet but again, same for the rest of europe. if you want to stay at a boutique hotel that feels like london, if you wan the big brass and glass american room stay elsewhere. i didn't have an issue with the air conditioning but it wasn't hot when i went and check with any hotel before you go as some older hotels in european cities don't have it either. again, i travel for a living and didn't want the big american experience, i went for a vacation, didn't need to spend time in my room so "room comfort" wasn't critical, staff and location were. and the bar was great for mid day mochas and after dinner drinks before bed. i love this place but everyone has their favorites. and if you stay here and don't want to walk far, try the little italian restaurant right around the corner, cool and funky, ton of garlic.

Loved it ... highly recommend!

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, great area safe and close to tube and restaurants, comfortable bed
Cons: No free Internet
I stayed here in April 2011 for 4 nights in an executive room for one. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in this hotel and in this general area,as well. The hotel is lovely, very well maintained and just a couple of blocks from Green Park tube. My room was immaculately clean, which for me, is extremely important! The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious, with a window that I could open for ventilation. Also in the room was an armoire with closet space, a safe, tea/coffee making supplies and a mini fridge, and a desk and chair. There was a flat screen TV, as well. My room overlooked a quiet courtyard and was very, very quiet. I am an extremely light sleeper and slept well, never heard any noise at all. All of the staff were very courteous. I would definitely stay here again, I loved it!

Location, location, location

We stayed here in May, 2010 and thought it was an extremely good choice and a good value. The rooms are somewhat small but nicely done. Great bathroom and shower. Since we don't spend much time in our room it was more than sufficient. The front door staff was always helpful and there to open doors, etc. There are wonderful restaurants at the nearby Shepherd's Market (one block) as well as others within an easy walk. Close to theaters, Buckingham Palace and tube stations. We did not eat here for breakfast as we eat lightly and chose to go to Starbucks, just around the corner. We would return again.

The Hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff (except for one at the front desk who seemed to be having a bad day with everything and everybody) was extremely helpful. The internet conection in our room would not connect so A, an employee, used his laptop to assist me.

Accomodating staff, Uncomfortable rooms

I agree with the reviews that this is not the same quality as other Hiltons, both worldwide and even other Hilton properties in London. My room did not even have a reading chair (it had a padded cube - totally non-functional!) and it looked out the back of the hotel to a deserted property covered in trash. If you get a good deal, the location is ideal for getting around, but don't expect a comfortable room! I am a Hilton Diamond member and this is what I got - I would hate to see what non-members get.

Hilton Green Park

We found hotel to be first class in amenities and service. A great location to walk to Piccadilly, Knightsbridge, Oxford Street, Bond Street and Leicester Square. Very helpful front desk and concierge. The full breakfast was outstanding . Overall a fantastic hotel for the price.

NEVER STAY HERE

This place was a disaster. It definitely gives the Hilton a bad name. Let?s go down the list: 1. No central air conditioning. They have this big air conditioning machine on the floor in your room, which requires that the window stay open about 12 inches for the air-conditioning machine vent tube to go out. And yes it?s noisy outside. At night I pulled in the massive tube inside and shut the window just so I could sleep ? thank goodness it wasn?t hot! 2. Want to make a local call - $8. 3. A 3 minute international call $40 (dialed by accident ? tried to use calling card, but no directions in the room on how to dial out, and the concierge and front desk could not tell you how to do it.) They refused to refund my money when I asked. 4. I?m a Hilton Honors member ? they could care less! 5. Worthless buffet breakfast $40 6. Tiny room that is on the same level as a Motel 6 in the U.S. ($350 US$ per night!!!) 7. Yes it?s in an ideal location, but believe me there are many hotels in central London that cost half as much and are 2-3x as nice. Examples: Byron Hotel 36 38 QUEENSBOROUGH TERRACE Millennium Hotel Mayfair 44 GROSVENOR SQUARE It?s just a matter of time before this place is closed down and completely re-built from the inside out.

not Hilton at its best

Concierges almost make up for tiny rooms, expensive breakfasts, and lack of room furnishings, especially drawer and closet space.

Small and Cheap

This hotel is modestly priced for this area. However when I stayed there, the room was a closet without working ventliation. A mobile air conditioner took up a lot of floor space, the built-in one did not work. to give the aircon enough space, the small desk had to be pushed up against the closet making it impossible to open the closet door.
