I booked a King Suite with a soaker tub for a one-night stay, expecting a high-quality experience given the premium room type.
Unfortunately, the level of cleanliness was unacceptable. Upon check-in, I found the refrigerator filled with old food, milk, eggs, sandwiches, and mildew. It was clear the room had not been properly inspected or cleaned.
It took four phone calls before the front desk finally answered.
While a housekeeper was eventually sent up to clean the fridge, it was so packed with the previous guest's waste that it took her two trips just to remove everything.
The service recovery was equally disappointing. I was initially promised a 50% discount for the significant inconvenience, only for the hotel to call back and lower it to 15%. For a high-end reservation, the lack of attention to detail and the inconsistent communication left a very sour taste.
The headboard, the frame of the bed needs to be tightened, it was making a lot of noise.
I would like to also add, due to the weather the the parking lot should have been salted. it was so slippery and icy.
