Be warned

The hotel is located in a dreadful location. It was our first time visiting London so we didn’t know much about the area only that it was downtown, which is typically where we stay on all our travels. This location is sitting next to a homeless/drug rehabilitation centre and it’s absolutely terrifying to see the sites you’re going to see unfold here. In all of my years of travelling the entire world I’ve never seen such conditions happening outside a hotel. There’s constant drug use, addicts slumped over on each corner of the buildings and prostitution. It was truly terrifying, we were never approached by them but was extremely cautious and uncomfortable during our stay here. I will comment on the cleanliness of our room, despite being dated it was quite clean and the bed was comfortable but I would never stay here again due to the location proximity to facility next door

There is a shelter next door with a bunch of junkies hanging around outside the hotel. Greeted with vomit at the door and bugs in the bathroom. Never again!

I had a great experience with the staff, very courteousand helpful. My room was clean. Around the building, there is a large community of homeless people. To be honest it did not bother me as i parked my car in the basment parking which was gated. However i did have my initial fears when i read the reviews online.

The hotel itself served its purpose of an overnight stay. Room with a king bed was comfortable and quiet. Staff was excellent and friendly and check in was quick. Paid secure parking available. Many homeless people were gathered on the street with a small encampment close by. As a single woman staying alone I did feel uneasy waiting for transportation out front. Doesn’t seem the hotel has much control of the issue but takes precautions with locked doors and pass card access. I would stay here again.
