We understand your concern. However, this is and has been a hotel industry standard for many, many years. We should've been elected to explain it better. Or at least walk up with you to the room and verified that the room has the furniture that you and we can agree to for your assurance. Thank you for letting us know what you enjoyed and what we can improve on. Our apologies for the keys not working. As for the sound, it is the A/C unit which has a safety feature which set off the alarm. The weather in our area has been significantly colder than usual and the A/C units are "used' to the temperature in the 30's. We apologize for any inconvenience.
