It was okay

Room was ok but definitely would not recommend staying on the top floor when it’s hot outside. The little air conditioners do not work that well for the size of those rooms. It’s definitely is an older place and needs to be updated but overall, it was a place to sleep.

Shelly's stay.

Pros: It's close to the strip.
Cons: widen the parking, or repaint the lines and park sideways, seems there'll be more room.
Location: Lots to do, but you have to walk..which is always good for the body.
It was a very busy weekend for Vegas, but I was still able to get a nice room.

Apartment style rooms a short walk from the strip

I've stayed her several times, and will likely stay here again. The rooms are spacious, they look a little dated but they are clean. Beds are comfortable, AC gets nice and cool! Room includes a small refrigerator and a microwave. They also have a hair dryer and iron. They have a 24 hour gym and pool. No casino. These rooms are apartment style and aren't as fancy as many of the hotels on the strip, but they are a great price and short walk from the center of the strip. I've shelled out money to stay at "nicer" recognizable hotels and basically have the same experience I do at Alexis Park for half the price. Granted the rooms aren't super modern, like main strip hotels, but the frilly throw pillows, colorful Devore, and over priced snacks aren't work double the price to me. The only advantage I see in main hotels is that instead of a short walk to the strip, you'd be on the strip. There is a quite a few food options that are about a 5 minute walk from here. It was nice to just walk over to Dublin donuts in the morning for coffee versus driving to a busy overcrowded Starbucks.

Many Issues need to be corrected in room 2111

Pros: Convenience to the Strip, large spacious suite, liked having kitchenette
Cons: See comments above
At check-in, I was the only person standing at the counter--one clerk saw me and walked away and a mgr was sitting in office behind counter andnever looked up when I said "Hello". NO shower curtain, new light needed in bathroom, no blanket for hide-a-bed, inside of fridge is quite warn, no tv remote (we later found) but hotel never did anything about it, rip in carpet & carpet didnt lay flat, bathtub peeling, no power from the outlet by the bedside table, Front desk was either always a busy signal or no answer from room--had to call from cell phone in room. I had a msg & couldnt retrieve it, when asked the fron desk staff told me I had to use a code---I then asked "are you going to give me the code?"--they didnt know it and had to go check with someone else. These items are easily fixable and should be addressed BEFORE renting out room 2111 again.

Got no sleep!

Pros: pool area
Cons: Customer service
When you first walk in the lobby is beautiful and so are the pool areas and grounds. The room is decent, with good kitchenette area and separate bedroom, BUT, all night long there was a drilling sound and we did not get one minute of sleep. I actually think the sound was maybe water pipes, because I don't think they would have construction going on in the middle of the night. I told the front desk the next morning and because I booked through Travelocity they would not do one thing to help me. Bad customer service.

Wanted to love it...

Pros: The breakfast buffet was very good, although a bit pricey. The facilities seemed like they could be very nice with better maintenance. Good location f
Cons: This resort could be top notch with a little more attention to detail, i.e. there was only a half roll of tp, only 3 tissues in the kleenex box, only
Location: right across the street from Hard Rock Hotel, lots of other fast food close by, 5 minutes from UNLV.
When we arrived there was a major wind storm going on, so there was debris everywhere. All 3 pools and the jacuzzi were closed due to the amount of dirt and debris in the water. Looking beyond that, The landscaping was a little hit and miss, and the building construction seemed a little cheap. The hotel is in the flight path of the airport which is less than a mile away as the crow flies, and yet they have single pane windows. The interior appointments were quite nice, except for the bathtub and shower area being painted, leading to the appearance of having mold or mildew on the tiles. One of the bathroom doors got locked and wouldn't open until maintenance came. The bed we slept in the first night was totally collapsed, so my wife got very little sleep. When we told a manager about it, we were told it would be taken care of right away. That was Friday. It was Sunday and 2 more calls before a new mattress showed up. We slept in the other bed, but it was very close to the window, so there was cold air all night. They offered to move us on Friday before the place filled up, but we had already spent an hour unpacking and setting up the room, so we really didn't want to move. We also had a few small bugs in the kitchen area, which also were not dealt with until Sunday. We liked that the hot water was hot right away, although it had very low pressure. The fridge worked great, and we liked the layout of the rooms.(it was a suite with a separate bedroom) The staff was friendly and c

Hotel needs an extreme upgrade.

Pros: The location was just off of the strip and didn't allow a lot of walking to get to the room.
Cons: All of the above.
Location: The location was just off of the strip.
This hotel is in need of an extreme upgrade. The beds were extremely hard and the pillows were just about nonexistent. The room itself gave a feeling of not being clean. The bathroom floor was dirty and we had a dirty wash cloth that was folded up for our use. The lighting in the room was terrible and the ac unit cover fell off when a door closed.

Not great but OK

Pros: Location
Cons: It really could use better maintenance and a face lift
Location: It is close the strip and right across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel and Cafe. However I understand they are about to demolish the Cafe.
The desk people were very good. The room was OK but there was something looking like jelly (fruit) on the cabinet fronts. The top of the counters had something sticky on them. We had to ask for some the amenities that come with the room, we reserved it for 4 occupants but it was only set up for two. It was somewhat disturbing to find one of the pools was shut down by the health department. Not sure why but at the time of our stay it still wasn't corrected. They were very good about getting the amenities up to what they should have been. Weird that there was no Kleenex dispenser in the room however and when replenishing the drinking glasses they never replaced the ones that were used. So I guess I should say they didn't replenish them or at least in our case did not replenish them. It would be good for anyone considering this place to know that there is like a homeless commune just on the other side of the property's fence. In all fairness they did not bother anyone to my knowledge or case out any vehicles. One thing that did impress me was that I walked around in my stocking feet (white at that) and they stayed cleaner than when I do that at my own house. So I can only assume that the floors are well cleaned and the carpets are vacuumed well as well.

Worst experience of my life....

We booked this room last minute. Got to the hotel to find a room that has mold in the bathroom, the people above us were so loud until after 3 am both nights, front desk told me go to my room and dial 0 to contact a manager. The phone didn't work! No snack machine the soda machine doesn't work!! Truly WORST vacation stay ever!! Not worth the money!! The manager also tries to put the blame on the guests. Unprofessional on every level. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here!!

Would come back again!

Pros: Close to the strip Restaurant Gift Shop Great Service!
Cons: All is good
Location: Across from the Hard Rock Hotel Mins Away from the Strip
Excellent customer service! The staff that work here are very welcoming and kind. The hotel is located 30 mins away via walk from the strip and about 5-10 mins in car. The hotel has a shuttle that drops you off on the strip at Planet Hollywood. It comes every 30 mins(i.e. 1:30, 2:30 , 3:30, 4:30 ect) The room room was nice and very clean, it came with our own mini fridge and microwave. The hotel is located close to the airport so if youre outside you do get to hear the airplanes take off, but if youre inside most of the time or away from the hotel its not an issue. I loved that there was a gift shop at the lobby entrance, and even it's own restaurant. Definitely a good experience and will recommend to friends! :)
