Courtyard by Marriott Port Of Spain
"All the staff were very friendly! The AC in my room was making extra noise and therefore disturbed my sleep. The staff tried to resolve the problem but without success. They said a new unit would be installed nevertheless it wasn’t done. The hotel is quite worn and could use some touching up. Again ..."

"Well located in the heart of the city, the hotel is easy to find with ample secure parking just over a semi private road. Kapok Hotel
"Well located in the heart of the city, the hotel is easy to find with ample secure parking just over a semi private road. My room had a balcony off the large living room but the view was of the busy street below. At night the street noise was minimal. They offered ear plugs as well. There was a small kitchenette with a small bar sink, mini refrigerator and microwave with a few dishes. An electric kettle with teas and coffee was also provided. There was no dish soap so housekeeping would have to clean up daily. The restaurant Kava on the ground floor offered a nice variety of food including smoked salmon pizza and roasted chicken. The hotel restaurant on the 8th floor had a fabulous breakfast and the staff were polite and efficient. I think of the Port of Spain hotels (I have stayed in all the major hotels except one St Ann’s boutique hotel), I think this offers the least problematic, comfortable and enjoyable experience. The decor is nice - not very modern but I would not say outdated either."
