The Thousand Kyoto is an absolutely beautiful property that is only a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station and its surrounding vast of shops and restaurants. This is one of the most wonderful hotels I’ve ever stayed at, the service was top notch from arrival to departure. A fabulous hotel newly refurbished. Very comfortable beds and rooms, superb service and very good quality food. Extremely convenient to Kyoto station (about 3-5 mins walk) dependent on your exit. Great gym and spa. Recommend allowing a little extra time for your breakfast as hotel is always full and consequently busy.

Clean large rooms. For a rating of 5star and the cost of the rooms would expect a view. But it is very close to the train station. All surprised they didn't have hand lotion.

Love: the location, cleanliness, mattress…etc. The room is spacious. Every single staff is polite, kind and helpful. Truthfully 5 stars hotel. Dislike: nothing to dislike First we stayed for 5 nights. We will sure to stay again.

The hotel is beautiful. Room was spacious, clean, modern. Staff from the front desk to the coffee bar, every single one who we interacted to were kind, polite and helpful. Hotel location is just few steps to Kyoto station. It is a truthly 5 stars hotel. We strongly recommend it to our extended family and friends. This will be our hotel every time we are in Kyoto.
