"We had a great stay, primarily because of the bartender. He is very personable. We had only stopped in for an after dinner drink, and ended up closing tge place. 😆 He told us about a delicious sounding drink recipe that contained root beer. We happened to have some bottles of root beer with us that we had purchased at one of of the bourbon tours - we got them and brought them to the bar and he made the drinks which we then shared with other guests. In return, we shared with him a new drink we had created elsewhere that we named the Happy Traveler. I look forward to going back one day and hopefully seeing our drink on his menu. We would legit stay here again just to hang out at the bar. Otherwise, I would have given three stars because of the dinner experience. The staff there were very nice, but I ordered chicken and it came out raw. Had to send it back, they made it again, and it came out raw a second time. That’s actually why we went to the bar, to grab a drink and some bar snacks cuz I was hangry! lol "

"We didn’t stay in this exact property but another one due to the access because of weather. The owner was very accommodating switching us to another property and the property was clean and perfect. It had everything we needed! Thanks for a wonderful stay! "

"check in was easy, everything that was promised was in good shape. For us the hot tub is the most important. we love the location and of course it is dog friendly. this was our second stay and plan on returning."
