The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we decided to end our stay early, they were very accommodating and helped to get the last night refunded. The location is why we chose this place, and it worked out nicely. We walked to and from the Chiefs game and avoided all traffic. The sheets/bedding were clean as well as the toilet, shower, sinks and counters. It ended there. This place has permanent residents. Not sure how it works out but the residents were definitely from struggling situations. There was fighting that got bad enough the police were called. The smells in the halls and elevator were horrific. A combination of urine, cigarette smoke, marijuana and who knows what else. Our room was better but not great. I bought a glade plug in to mask the smell. The kitchen was useless as there was not any kind of cookware. While we felt ok sleeping in the beds and using the bathroom, the walls were disgusting and there was lots of build up along the floorboards. I've stayed in lots of cheap motels and am not extremely picky, but this one topped them all on the gross scale and I would not stay here again.
