I really didn’t know anything about this hotel when I booked, but I am glad I did. The hotel is nice, the staff is nice, the room was quiet (other than being able to hear people in the hallway), no outside noise. Close to restaurants, Central Park, Trader Joe’s. Felt safe walking around. There is a breakfast voucher for the connected French bakery, which was awesome. I thought it was a great stay!

Belleclair perfect for Mother/daughter trip

Loved our stay, would stay again. Easy location for uptown and Broadway plans. Disappointed that there was not more recycling in NYC, no separate bin in our room but that seemed to be citywide. Also, waiting in the long line for coffee at the attached cafe is not how I want to get my first cup of coffee. However, the cafe/bakery was delicious and I appreciated the vouchers. Still, just small cups of drip in the lobby would be so welcome. I liked the hardwoodesqe floor, as hote carpet always feels gross. This felt very clean. Soft beds were comfortable and blackout curtain worked perfectly. Door to hall could use more noise insulation.

We have stayed here before and it was quite nice- great location- This time not so much fun for the high price we paid....Waited for a text to let us know the room was ready - no text. So a late check in. After confusion about giving us a room with handicap accessibility features, we were moved into a closet size room that had a clogged shower and shower door that would not close tightly. Management was made aware of our dissatisfaction and indicated they will upgrade us next time. However, just not a good look for a high end hotel on the Upper West Side.
